Follow the story: Helena and Anna Clemens Bachofen Von Echt were inseparable sisters. As a gift for their father, the Baron, the girls’ strict mother arranged for this painting. They sat still for hours on end, bored to death. As night fell the sounds of a traveling circus drifting through the walls. When the painter finally finished, the girls ran out of the room, straight into their nurse who put them through their nightly activities. Later, the nurse swore upon her life that after she tucked them in, their door was shut tight and the windows were closed. But something sinister must have happened, as the girls were never seen again. Complete this puzzle and be shocked by the horror of their fate!

Artist Biography: Joseph Weidner (1801–1871) was an Austrian painter known for his portraiture.
